Hike to the Eagle’s Nest
Experience the Eagle’s Nest the way it was discovered by allied soldiers — on foot.
This guided hike combines alpine nature, panoramic views, and the powerful history of Obersalzberg and the Kehlsteinhaus. Instead of arriving by bus like most visitors, we climb the mountain step by step and experience the landscape, learn the history, and the achievement of reaching the summit under our own power.

Why This Tour Is Different
Most visitors reach the Eagle’s Nest by bus.
We take the path less traveled.
Our route leads through forest trails and alpine terrain above Berchtesgaden, offering perspectives that most tours never show. Along the way we explore the deeper historical context of Obersalzberg and the role the Eagle’s Nest played during the Second World War.
The hike itself becomes part of the experience. As the trail climbs higher, the views open up across the Bavarian Alps, and the effort of the ascent turns into the satisfaction of standing at one of the most iconic mountain locations in Europe.
This tour is designed for travelers who want more than a quick stop. It is for those who want to understand the place, the history, experience the landscape, and earn the view.
